We’re looking for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join a busy, collaborative and supportive P&C team based in Ellerslie. This is a broad partnering role where you’ll work closely with leaders across designated portfolios, providing trusted advice, driving people initiatives, and supporting organisational change and growth. About the Role As a P&C Business Partner, you’ll be a key advisor to leaders and employees, ensuring alignment with organisational values, compliance with employment legislation, and delivery of people strategies that lift performance and engagement. You’ll work across a wide range of P&C activities including: Providing specialist P&C and employment relations advice Coaching leaders to build capability in performance, development, and people leadership Supporting organisational change, workforce planning, talent, succession and engagement initiatives Translating business needs into practical people solutionsTranslating business needs into practical people solutions Contributing to the annual People Plan and wider P&C projects Partnering with Talent Acquisition to build capability and bench strength Ensuring policies, processes and people systems are effective, compliant, and continuously improving Supporting quality, risk, safety and privacy requirements across your portfolios We’re looking for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join a busy, collaborative and supportive P&C team based in Ellerslie. What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who brings confidence, credibility, and a proactive approach to partnering. You will ideally have: Experience in a P&C Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role Strong employment relations capability and practical experience managing ER matters Solid understanding of NZ employment legislation, HR best practice and people systems Ability to coach, influence and build strong relationships at all levels Strong time management skills and comfort working in a fast‑paced, changing environment A positive, flexible, team‑focused approach High levels of integrity, professionalism and sound judgement Experience in complex or multi‑disciplinary environments is an advantage.
