This is a hands‑on role working in precast concrete manufacturing, where quality workmanship, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential. If you have experience in carpentry, formwork, precast concrete, or construction and take pride in producing high-quality work, we want to hear from you. Precast Carpenter / Concrete Workers Ashburton We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Precast Carpenter / Concrete Worker to join our team in Ashburton. This is a hands‑on role working in precast concrete manufacturing, where quality workmanship, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential. If you have experience in carpentry, formwork, precast concrete, or construction and take pride in producing high-quality work, we want to hear from you. About the Role You will be responsible for building and preparing formwork, assisting with concrete pours, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while following health and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities Build and fabricate plywood formwork to specification Read and work from shop drawings accurately Ensure all measurements, angles, and finishes meet quality standards Prepare and clean casting decks and formwork Install and secure formwork using screws, bolts, or magnetic clamps Apply sealants, form release, and retarders where required Assist with reinforcing steel placement and cast‑in items Support concrete pours, vibrating, screeding, and finishing Oversee stripping, cleaning, and storage of formwork after pours Maintain a clean and safe work environment Assist with general site duties across the Ashburton site when required Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear correct PPE at all times Work within company Quality Management Systems and procedures What We’re Looking For Experience in precast concrete, formwork carpentry, construction, or concrete work preferred Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong attention to detail and accuracy Physically fit and capable of hands‑on work Reliable, motivated, and a team player Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Positive attitude and willingness to learn What We Offer Full-time, stable employment Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow your skills and experience Immediate start available for the right person If you’re ready to join a hardworking team and build a long‑term career in the construction industry … ? ? ? …] #J-18808-Ljbffr
