We're seeking a qualified tradesperson to join a well-established Plumbing, Gas Fitting, and Drainlaying business based in Palmerston North. Working across a variety of commercial construction projects throughout the wider Manawatū region, you'll become part of a professional team that values quality workmanship, safety, and customer service. If you're a qualified Plumber with Gas Fitting and/or Drainlaying experience, we'd love to hear from you. While additional trade qualifications are preferred, they're not essential. About the Role Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out plumbing, gas fitting, and/or drainlaying work across commercial construction projects. Working independently or supervising and supporting an apprentice when required. Using company technology, including iPads and laptops, to complete job records and reports. Maintaining high standards of workmanship while promoting safe work practices on every site. Building positive relationships with clients and representing the company professionally. Hours Monday to Friday. 40-45 hours per week. Occasional weekend work may be required depending on project demands. What's in it for You? Competitive hourly rate. Time and a half paid after 45 hours. What You'll Need NZ Qualified Plumber (Gas Fitting and/or Drainlaying experience advantageous). Strong communication and problem-solving skills. A commitment to health and safety. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. Ability to pass a MOJ check Current Site Safe passport, or willingness to obtain one.
