We are currently looking for a Rotation Shift PackingOperator to be based at our Mt Maunganui site and to work in our packing operation on a permanent full-time basis. The Packing Operator is an integral member of the Packing team, the position will provide strong support to the existing site-based team by: Ensuring that the day-to-day productivity of the pre weigh, premix and packing areas are at optimal levels Ensuring products are properly packaged according to quality standards Monitoring production lines, performing quality checks, and maintaining accurate documentation while adhering to safety protocols within a manufacturing environment Rotation Shift Pattern: 6:00am to 6:00pm 3 days on and 3 days off then 6:00pm start 6:00am finish, 3 nights on 3 nights off Hourly Rate: $28 - $33 depending on skills and experience Work environment: Packaging operators typically work in manufacturing facilities, often on production lines and may be exposed to noise and repetitive tasks. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with previous experience in food handling packing operations, however, full training will be given with strong emphasis on workplace Health & Safety, Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices. The preferred candidates will have: Mechanical aptitude Physical stamina Ability to work shifts Basic computer skills Ability to learn and follow documented systems and processes. Commitment to ensuring safety of self and others. Enthusiasm and enjoyment of working to tight schedules within a team environment.
