We're looking for a confident and proactive Assistant Manager to support our team at Mico Hawera. What the Role Looks Like As Assistant Manager, you'll play a key part in the smooth running and ongoing growth of the branch. You'll support the Branch Manager, coordinate daily operations, and help your team deliver industry-leading service. You will also work closely with the rest of the Mico Taranaki team in New Plymouth when the business requires it. Flexibility is key to this role. Supporting the day-to-day running of the branch and ensuring processes are followed Delivering excellent customer service and helping achieve branch KPIs Generating sales, building customer relationships, and contributing to monthly targets Preparing quotes, managing inquiries, and ensuring timely follow-up Monitoring pricing, margins, and contract agreements Assisting with stock control, invoicing, and branch presentation Helping lead internal communication, team engagement, and succession planning Providing insights on market conditions, competitor activity, and sales performance Assist with client call-outs when required, responding promptly to support customer needs and maintain service expectations. This is a permanent full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday based in our Hawera branch.
