About the Role Fixed term parental leave cover We are seeking an experienced Health Care Assistant with good communication and interpersonal skills to join our team in the Assessment and Diagnostic Unit at Waitakere Hospital. This is a fixed term role covering an employee on parental leave. This position is rostered Monday - Sunday, therefore you must be prepared to work all shifts this includes nights and weekends. About the Team/Service/ Location You are expected to work well in a team, have excellent customer service skills and customer service practices, uphold confidentiality and discretion, good command of oral and written English and knowledge and understanding of the health care system. About you To be considered we will need the following: At least 2 years experience working in an acute environment Knowledge and understanding of the healthcare system Someone who thrives in high energy environments and can prioritise effectively A New Zealand Citizen or Resident Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
