Our client is looking for a full-time Youth Wellness Clinician based in Taranaki. There is a permanet role and also a 12 month contract position avaliable. You will provide strengths-based, culturally responsive support to young people aged 10–18 years and their families across the region. Working alongside young people experiencing emotional, behavioural, social, or wellbeing challenges, you will deliver creative and flexible therapeutic support that builds resilience, identity, connection, and long-term wellbeing. This is an early intervention, community-based role focused on helping young people and their families access the right support at the right time, reducing the need for more intensive mental health services. What you'll need to succeed: Current registration as a health or social service professional with a current practising certificate A qualification in a relevant therapeutic modality Recognition by a professional body under the HPCA Act (or equivalent) Experience working with young people and families in mental health or community settings Strong skills in therapeutic approaches relevant to youth, including counselling and risk assessment Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills The ability to work both independently and collaboratively across sectors An understanding of Māori models of health Confidence using technology and client management systems What's on offer: Competitive remuneration A supportive, people-focused team environment Te Reo Māori and cultural learning during work hours An additional paid organisational day, plus four wellbeing leave days per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
