Mobile Patrol Officers - Night Shift

We’re currently looking for reliable and experienced Mobile Patrol Officers to join our Auckland team, working night shifts across: Central & West Auckland If you enjoy working independently, being out on the road, and taking responsibility for keeping people and properties safe, this could be the role for you. About the Role As a Mobile Patrol Officer, you’ll be responsible for carrying out scheduled and response patrols across a range of client sites. You’ll be trusted to work professionally and efficiently while representing Matrix Security to our customers and the wider community and delivering the high level of service our clients expect. Duties include, but are not limited to: Conducting scheduled mobile patrols and security checks Responding to alarm activations and security incidents Completing lock-ups and unlocks of client premises Checking buildings, doors, gates, perimeter areas, and other access points Identifying and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, damage, or security risks Responding to incidents and escalating matters when required Completing accurate patrol, incident, and activity reports Liaising professionally with clients, members of the public, and the Matrix Security Operations team Following site-specific instructions, company procedures, and health and safety requirements Maintaining the security and cleanliness of assigned patrol vehicles and equipment Providing a visible, professional security presence and delivering excellent customer service As these are night shift positions, you’ll need to be comfortable working independently, managing your time effectively, and remaining alert and responsive throughout your shift. To be considered, you MUST have: A current Certificate of Approval (COA) A full New Zealand Driver Licence The legal right to work in New Zealand Previous security experience, with mobile patrol experience strongly preferred Strong situational awareness and attention to detail Excellent time management and reliability Clear written and verbal communication skills Confidence working independently during night shifts A professional attitude and strong customer-service skills A good level of physical fitness for patrol duties Why Join Matrix Security?
