We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a busy manufacturing team producing high-quality fabricated metal products. If you enjoy precision work, reading technical drawings, and producing quality components, this could be the role for you. What's on Offer? Competitive hourly rate based on experience Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm (early finish every Friday!) Full-time, ongoing employment Modern manufacturing facility, based in Islington Supportive and experienced team Opportunity for long-term career development About the Role As a Press Brake Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brake machines to manufacture precision sheet metal components. Working from engineering drawings, you'll ensure all products are produced accurately and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC press brake machines Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions Select the correct tooling and machine settings for each job Bend and form sheet metal components to specification Perform quality inspections using measuring equipmentCarry out routine machine maintenance and housekeeping Work safely while meeting production deadlines Collaborate with the wider production team to achieve daily targets About You To be successful in this role, you'll have: Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery The ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Experience selecting tooling and setting up machines Confidence using measuring equipment to check tolerances Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Reliable attendance and a positive, team-focused attitude A strong commitment to workplace health and safety If you're looking to join a well-established manufacturing business where your skills are valued and you'll enjoy a great work-life balance with early Friday finishes, we'd love to hear from you.
