In this hands‑on role, you’ll carry out fabrication, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of heavy off‑road machinery including loaders, material handlers, and terminal tractors. Location: Tauranga Port Status: Full-time, Mon‑Fri working 7am to 4pm Specific Responsibilities: Carry out welding, fabrication, and repairs on heavy machinery and port equipment Monitor and replace worn attachments and components Provide technical input to improve component quality and longevity Maintain a safe work environment and report incidents promptly Who we're after: Relevant NZQA Level 4 trade qualification in Heavy Fabrication [or overseas equivalent] Proven experience working on heavy vehicles and machinery. Able to work independently and as part of a small team. Bring a positive, can‑do attitude to the role.
