Preventive Maintenance Technician - HVAC At Comfort Solutions, we specialise in heat pump installation, servicing, and maintenance. With over 10 years of experience, our team is passionate about delivering honest, efficient, and reliable service to homes and businesses across the Auckland region. Our servicing work is thorough and focused on ensuring that each heat pump runs efficiently, lasts longer, and provides clean, healthy air. We're looking for a hands‑on and detail‑oriented Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for carrying out routine servicing and maintenance of heat pumps - both wall‑mounted and ducted systems. Your work ensures our customers stay comfortable all year round and helps prevent future breakdowns or costly repairs. Responsibilities will include : Perform scheduled maintenance on residential and commercial heat pump systems Clean filters, indoor/outdoor coils, and fan components Diagnose and report any faults or potential issues Recommend further servicing or repairs when required Record service details and maintain accurate job notes Communicate professionally with customers on‑site Ensure tools, equipment, and work vehicles are well‑maintained Previous experience servicing heat pumps or HVAC systems preferred A good understanding of mechanical and electrical components Physically fit and comfortable working on ladders or in tight spaces Competent and able to work on your own Detail‑oriented with a high standard of workmanship Friendly, respectful, and clear communicator Full NZ driver's licence NZ residency or valid work visa required At Comfort Solutions, we specialise in heat pump installation, servicing, and maintenance.
