City Produce Limited – Christchurch, South Island We are looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our fresh produce processing team. You will be working with a range of fruit and vegetables, preparing products for packing and distribution in a busy processing environment. This role involves using knives and other sharp processing equipment, so attention to detail, safety awareness and following workplace procedures are essential. Key Responsibilities Process, trim, cut and prepare fresh fruit and vegetables Operate knives, cutting equipment and other processing machinery safely Sort and inspect produce for quality Pack and label finished products Maintain a clean and hygienic work area Follow food safety, health and safety procedures at all times Work efficiently to meet daily production targets Safely handle and move produce, boxes and equipment Report damaged equipment, hazards or product quality issues to supervisors What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic Comfortable working with fruit and vegetables Able to work safely with sharp equipment Good attention to detail Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods Able to work in a fast-paced processing environment Positive attitude and willingness to learn Previous food processing, factory or produce experience is an advantage, but training can be provided What We Offer Full training and support Safe and structured working environment Opportunities for ongoing employment Friendly team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
