We're seeking experienced Electronics Repair Technicians to join us in our Auckland Head Office. Fonefix is a leading electronics repair, network testing and trade-in services provider with more than 18 years experience in the market, serving both direct customers and major retail channels. As an Electronics Repair Technician, you'll be primarily focused on repairing both Apple & Samsung products initially, but may also expand into other brands & product areas in the future. We are fully warranty authorised by both Apple and Samsung, so previous experience in their systems and processes is ideal, and if you have good experience in Apple Mac repair that would also be a strong plus. In this role, you'll have the chance to gain knowledge from globally recognized training programs, service manuals and technical bulletins. You'll need good knowledge and experience with electronic repairing equipment, as well as proficient computer skills, including strong operational knowledge of mobile phone OS platforms such as iOS and Android. You'll be required to use various hand tools, manufacturer supplied machines and jigs, and other electronic testing equipment. We also manage device trade-in programs for two large retail chains, and you may be required to assist with trade-in grading tasks, which includes checking device condition and functionality, data erasure and systems management. Main Responsibilities: Achieving personal repair targets and volumes Completing repairs to the required standard within the designated time period, with minimal re-service/return rate Accurately documenting repairs/complete job sheets and various internal communications such as parts management/requests Operating to required company standards and procedures Assisting others in the team with your specific expertise areas Showing a passion for ongoing improvement and growth Assisting in workshop maintenance and ESD compliance, to ensure a safe and healthy laboratory environment NZ Citizenship, Permanent residency, or completed Work Visa status Minimum 1 year experience in mobile device repair or similar electronics fields.
