About the Role Permanent North Shore You will collaborate with the wider clinical team to provide compassionate, patient-centred care across the surgical pathway, supporting patients before and after surgery to achieve the best possible outcomes. This is a great opportunity for experienced surgical nurses to grow their expertise in a supportive and well-established ward environment. About the Team/Service/ Location As a Registered Nurse, in Toru Ward (General Surgical), you will join a busy 30-bed general surgical unit with a strong focus on colorectal surgery. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced acute environment, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients throughout their surgical journey. About you To be considered we will need the following: New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate A minimum of 2 years post registration acute experience as Registered Nurse in New Zealand Recent experience working within a Surgical Ward A confident communicator and natural problem solver Someone who thrives in high energy environments and can prioritise effectively Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
