Job Description
Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, guaranteed 40 hours of work per week. Salary: between $75,000 per annum. About the role As our permanent and full-time, National Parts Manager Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of Rokbro's national parts department. You will oversee inventory, purchasing, warehousing, customer support and supplier relationships while developing strategies to grow parts sales and improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with our service team, sales team and international suppliers to ensure customers receive the right parts, at the right time. Key responsibilities Coordinating priorities across parts, service, sales, and administration Develop and implement strategies to grow parts sales and profitability Manage inventory levels to maximise availability while controlling stock investment Forecast demand and maintain appropriate stock holdings Build strong relationships with key suppliers and OEM manufacturers Negotiate purchasing terms and manage supplier performance Oversee all parts ordering, receiving and dispatch operations Ensure fast, accurate and professional customer service Work closely with the service department to minimise machine downtime Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and manufacturer procedures About you Relevant degree level qualification or equivalent relevant work experience Previous work experience managing a parts department, including inventory management and purchasing experience preferably within heavy equipment, construction, quarrying, mining, agricultural or industrial machinery Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent inventory management and purchasing experience Commercially focused with strong business acumen Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail Strong communication and customer relationship skills Experience using inventory management systems A proactive attitude with the ability to solve problems and make decisions A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service About us Rokbro is a proudly New Zealand-owned business specialising in world-class crushing, screening, recycling and material handling equipment.
