HospiceShop Assistant - Waiwhakaiho (32.5 hrs per week)

Our HospiceShop in Waiwhakaiho is looking for a HospiceShop Assistant! The successful applicant will work across all operations of the Waiwhakaiho Hospiceshop with the support of a team of both employed staff and volunteers. This role is for 32.5 hours paid work per week as follows: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 7.30am till 3pm (incl 30 min unpaid meal break) Saturdays – 8.00am till 1pm (incl 30 min unpaid meal break) Duties will include a variety of task including but not limited to: Daily vacuuming and dusting of the shop of up to 2 hours every morning. Window cleaning as required. Customer service – experience using till and EFTPOS required. Receiving and sorting incoming donations Cleaning and preparing items for sale Keeping the shop stocked up throughout the day This position is a very busy role in a very busy shop. You will be on your feet all day, thus a good level of fitness is required. You may also be required to help shift furniture as required and carry boxes throughout the shop to different departments so you must be physically able to complete these tasks.
