We are seeking one Junior Accountant to join our busy and growing team. Location of Work: Auckland Type of employment: Full time, 30 - 40 hours per week Days required: Monday – Friday Pay: $28 - $33 per hour, based on qualification and experience Responsibilities: Assist in preparing financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for companies, trusts, and individuals Prepare tax returns in accordance with New Zealand tax legislation Prepare GST returns, PAYE, and other statutory compliance filings To assist in the maintenance of the taxation of the databases Liaise with clients regarding routine accounting and taxation matters Other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you from time to time Relevant bachelor’s degree or above, in areas of accounting, statistics, or mathematics Relevant work experience is preferred Proficiency with Xero, MYOB and Excel Strong communication and time management skills Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. #J-18808-Ljbffr
