We are seeking experienced and confident Registered Nurses to join our team on a casual contract basis, providing high-quality clinical care across rest home and hospital environments in Hamilton and throughout the Greater Waikato region. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys variety, flexible work arrangements, and is confident working independently across different clinical settings. About the Role You will provide professional nursing support across aged care and hospital-level facilities, including periods of sole charge responsibility. We prefer RN's who are happy to travel to facilities in the Waikato area and we require flexibility, strong clinical judgement, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to residents and patients Work confidently in both rest home and hospital-level care environments Manage clinical responsibilities independently during sole charge shifts Complete accurate clinical documentation and assessments Administer medications and oversee care plans Communicate effectively with residents, families, GPs, and multidisciplinary teams Adapt quickly to different facilities and clinical environments Current New Zealand APC and Registered Nurse qualification Minimum 1 years’ experience working as a Registered Nurse in aged care/rest home settings Strong understanding of aged care and hospital-level clinical practice Comfortable working sole charge when required Full New Zealand driver license and willingness to travel throughout the Greater Waikato region Excellent time management and organisational skills Reliable, professional, and adaptable approach to work What We Offer Casual contract with flexible shifts $$$ Competitive hourly rates Variety of work across multiple facilities Supportive and professional team environment Ongoing opportunities for professional development $$$ Paid mileage to travel outside of city boundary, and back.
