About the Role We are looking for a dedicated, detail-orientated and organised team players to join our Regional Referral Centre Service on a fixed term part-time basis with the ability to flex up when required to meet delivery of service. You will be providing quality and efficient administration support to clinical services with regards to referral management. Some of your duties will include: Receive and receipt referrals for all services ensuring Ministry of Health guidelines and Te Whatu Ora processes are met. Preparing and dispatching correspondence to patients and referrers. Taking phone calls, responding to enquiries, and escalating as required. About the Team/Service/ Location The Regional Referral Centre team is based across both Tauranga and Whakatane Hospital sites, and this position can be based at either Tauranga or Whakatane Referral Centre. About you Able to cope with a high demanding workload Proven experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships Well developed administrative and organisational skills (MS Office Suite) Initiative and proactive problem-solving skills Strong time management skills, flexibility and ability to manage your workload and know when to shift your priorities accordingly.
