UNO Windows & Doors is a proudly New Zealand owned company established in 2006. From our modern manufacturing facility in Hāwera (built 2022), we design and manufacture adaptable and efficient window and door solutions for residential, multi-residential and light commercial projects across New Zealand. About the role We are needing experienced Aluminium Fabricators to join our growing team in Hāwera. We are an accredited employer and can provide visa support if required. These are permanent full-time roles with a minimum guaranteed 37.5 hours per week , typically Monday to Friday , with occasional overtime when required. Pay range: $30-40 per hour depending on skills and experience. We also have a company bonus scheme. Team members work within structured manufacturing processes, quality control systems and health and safety procedures to ensure every product is produced and delivered to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Manufacture and assemble aluminium window and door components Install glass and wedge units during assembly Cut aluminium and timber using saws and machinery Drill, punch and measure components accurately Clean and prepare completed units for delivery Assist with delivery of finished products when required Maintain a clean work area, equipment and vehicles Follow manufacturing processes, quality standards and health and safety procedures About you Physically fit and capable of lifting items over 20kg Reliable, punctual and trustworthy Positive attitude with a strong work ethic Willingness to learn and follow instructions Friendly and professional manner Able to work effectively in a busy team environment Able to prioritise and complete tasks accurately and on time Able to work independently and show initiative Skills: Ability to work with manufacturing tools, equipment and machinery safely Ability to follow production processes, quality standards and workplace health and safety requirements At least 12 months experience in Aluminium fabrication About UNO Windows & Doors UNO Windows & Doors is a proudly New Zealand owned company established in 2006.
