Afternoon Nanny

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey. We can be flexible on which afternoons you care for our children. Our schedule/working arrangements are not locked in. We will adapt for the right person. Additional hours might be available adhoc - babysitting, school holidays, etc. Job purpose Provide reliable after-school pick up and care to help keep the routine calm, safe, and well organised for our two children (2 and 5). Three afternoons a week. 2:45-5:45. Looking for a trusted person to be part of how our family keeps things together week on week. Key responsibilities Pick up children and supervise them at home. Requires a full drivers license and clean record. Support homework, play, and quiet activities. Prepare/heat up prepared dinner. Keep children safe and engaged while following family routines and instructions. Help with light child/household related tasks such as tidying, school bags, and mealtime items. Share updates on how their days went and how the afternoon went. Skill requirements Genuine care for children and a calm, patient manner. Reliable time management and a strong sense of responsibility. Clear communication and the ability to follow directions well. Confidence managing simple routines and keeping children occupied safely. Uses initiative to help the flow of the household. Previous nannying, babysitting, or childcare experience helps, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
