Support Exceptional People Behind Exceptional Hospitality Eichardt's Private Hotel is one of New Zealand's most iconic luxury hotels and part of the Foley Group portfolio. We are looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused People & Culture Advisor to join our team based at Eichardt's in Queenstown. To start at 25-30 hours per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across all aspects of HR administration, employee lifecycle management and hospitality recruitment while partnering closely with operational leaders. Working alongside our Group People & Culture Manager and the General Manager, you will support Eichardt's Private Hotel while also coordinating immigration and visa administration across the wider Foley Hospitality group. About the Role This is a hands-on operational HR role responsible for supporting the entire employee lifecycle. You’ll ensure our people processes are efficient, compliant and aligned across the business while providing practical support to department managers. The role is based at Eichardt's Private Hotel in Queenstown and offers flexibility around hours, with a minimum commitment of 25-30 hours per week . Key Responsibilities Employee Lifecycle Coordinate onboarding and induction administration Prepare employment agreements, contract variations and employment documentation Manage employee records and HR systems Coordinate offboarding and termination documentation Ensure personnel files remain accurate and compliant Recruitment Support Assist managers with recruitment administration Prepare job advertisements and coordinate recruitment campaigns Schedule interviews and complete reference checks when needed Support hiring managers through the recruitment process Coordinate offers and pre-employment documentation Immigration & Compliance Coordinate Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) processes Prepare and maintain immigration documentation across Foley Group Monitor visa expiry dates and compliance requirements Liaise with Immigration New Zealand where required People & Culture Support managers with HR policies, procedures and documentation Coordinate training records and compliance requirements Assist with employee engagement initiatives Help ensure consistency of people practices across the business Identify opportunities to improve HR systems and processes About You You’ll be someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. Ideally you’ll have: Previous experience in Human Resources, People & Culture or Employment Administration Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Knowledge of New Zealand Employment Relations legislation Experience with immigration or visa administration would be highly regarded Excellent communication and relationship-building skills The ability to work independently while supporting multiple stakeholders Hospitality experience would be advantageous but is not essential Why Join Us?
