Support Workers Wanted – Flexible, Fulfilling Work on Beautiful Waiheke Island Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for flexible hours and meaningful work close to home? As our services grow on Waiheke Island, we’re seeking caring and dependable individuals to join our team. About the Role: You will be providing essential support to people in their homes and community, including: Medication reminders and support. Meal preparation and light household tasks. Assistance with mobility and daily routines. Companionship and support with community outings. What We’re Looking For: We’d love to hear from you if you Have experience in disability, aged care, mental health, or community support. Are confident working independently in home-based settings. Communicate clearly and build trust with clients and families. Show empathy, patience, and professionalism. Hold a Full or Restricted NZ driver’s licence (own transport on the island is a plus). Are eligible to work in New Zealand. Have relevant qualifications (e.g. NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing)—or bring strong experience and a positive attitude.
