Engineering Tradesperson

We're seeking an experienced MIG Welder & Engineering Tradesperson to join a well-established engineering workshop. This is a hands-on role refurbishing, repairing, and rebuilding farm equipment, with a mix of workshop-based work and occasional on-site maintenance. What's in it for You? About the Role You'll work on a variety of agricultural equipment, carrying out repairs, refurbishments, and rebuilds to prepare machinery for customers. Your responsibilities will include: Refurbishing and repairing trade-in farm wagons and agricultural equipment Stripping out worn or damaged components Cutting, fabricating, fitting, and MIG welding steel components Replacing worn parts and carrying out general engineering work Rebuilding farm wagons to a high standard for resale Operating workshop machinery and power tools safely Completing occasional on-site maintenance using a company vehicle Maintaining a safe, tidy, and efficient workshop What We're Looking For Proven MIG welding experience (essential) Engineering or fabrication experience Ability to fabricate, repair, and work from drawings where required Experience with power tools and workshop equipmentPhysically fit and capable of hands-on work Strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude Comfortable interacting with customers when required TIG welding, fitting and turning, or machining experience is advantageous Class 2 licence is beneficial but not essential If you're an experienced welder looking for a long-term opportunity with a supportive team, excellent workshop culture, and plenty of variety, we'd love to hear from you.
