We are seeking experienced Mandarin Teachers to deliver engaging, high-quality Mandarin lessons tailored to students' ages, abilities, proficiency levels and learning goals. The role includes lesson planning, resource development, assessment and progress monitoring, with opportunities to teach small groups and one-to-one students. Key responsibilities Develop lesson plans, course materials and age-appropriate activities. Teach speaking, listening, reading and writing. Adapt teaching to different ages, abilities and learning styles. Assess language levels, identify needs and monitor progress. Provide constructive feedback to students and, where appropriate, families. Maintain attendance and progress records. Create a positive, inclusive learning environment. Communicate professionally with students, families and staff. Contribute to curriculum and programme development. About you Tertiary qualification in education, linguistics, Chinese language teaching or a related field. At least three years' relevant Mandarin teaching experience. Native-level or highly proficient Mandarin & English. Strong lesson-planning, classroom-management and communication skills. Ability to teach different ages and proficiency levels. Professional, reliable, patient and student-focused approach. CTCSOL Certification will be an advantage Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Legal right to work in New Zealand.
