Are you an experienced Community Support Worker looking for extra work? Do you want flexibility with you hours? We are seeking reliable support workers to join our casual pool. We have shifts available in residential supported living facilities in and around Wellington. Opportunities in Miramar and Waikanae also available. About the Role Aiding clients in residential supported living – supporting them in the community to enable them to function more safely and independently Assisting clients in their social, emotional and physical daily life skills development Recognizing potentially dangerous situations and being able to deal with these calmly and efficiently Availability to work wakeover shifts preferred Skills and Experience Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in an acute mental health or intellectual disability setting Desirable a national Certificate in Mental Health Level 4 and/or NZ Health and Wellbeing Level 3 or 4 Certificate Proficiency with managing challenging behaviours, ideally have current CPI i.e.: NVCI or MAPA Experienced with and willing to carry out personal cares A full driver’s license and the ability to drive a manual Culture and Benefits Competitive pay- exceeding industry standards Extra Penal rates for nights and weekends Community Support Workersenjoy working with Geneva Healthcare because of our professionalism, responsiveness and supportiveness. #J-18808-Ljbffr
