Tiling Solution Christchurch Limited is looking for an experienced wall and floor tiler to join our team in Christchurch. We work on residential and commercial projects throughout Christchurch and Canterbury, including bathrooms, architectural homes, townhouses, commercial fit-outs, waterproofing, floor preparation, and wall and floor tile installation. This is a Full-time Permanent Role Job Duties Read and interpret plans, take measurements, mark surfaces, and set out work accurately before installation. Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing existing tiles, grout, and adhesive, repairing imperfections, and ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for tiling. Apply adhesives and install wall and floor tiles in accordance with specifications and industry standards. Cut and shape tiles using appropriate tools to achieve accurate finishes around edges, corners, fixtures, fittings, and pipework. Ensure tiles are level, properly aligned, evenly spaced, and finished to a high standard. Mix and apply grout, remove excess grout, and clean completed tiled surfaces. Install and apply waterproofing membranes and systems where required to meet building and compliance standards. Lay specialised flooring materials, including terrazzo, granolithic, cement, or similar finishes where required. Create decorative tiled features, including patterned and mosaic designs, where specified by project requirements. Maintain a safe and tidy work environment while complying with workplace health and safety requirements.
