Senior Structural Engineer | Clear Path to Associate Sydney, Australia Cookson and Roberts – Auckland, North Island We are working with one of our long standing clients, a leading structural engineering consultancy known for winning and delivering complex, challenging structures across a wide range of specialist sectors, from Healthcare to Heritage, Commercial, Residential, Data Centres, across Sydney and beyond, their pipeline is exceptionally strong. Due to continued project wins, they are offering the opportunity to join the business in a pivotal role responsible for senior engineering and project delivery, and working alongside the Senior leadership team on the long term business strategy and ongoing plans. Technical Skills & Experience Required Experience: Minimum 6+ years of structural design experience, specifically within an Australian building structural engineering consultancy. If you dont quite have the years, please give me a call to discuss. Software Proficiency: Experience with design softwares, specifically ETABS, RAPT, RAM Concept, and SPACEGASS (or equivalent). Local Standards: Solid working knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Design Standards (including AS1170, AS3600, AS4100). Engineering Principles: Proven capability to solve complex, first-principles structural challenges across concrete (reinforced/post-tensioned), steel, and timber. Qualifications: A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural). Holding CPEng / NER status, or being actively on track to achieve it, is highly advantageous.
