Social & Marketing Specialist

We're looking for a Social & Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This is a creative, commercially minded role where you'll own organic social media and community management across the GO Rentals and Enterprise NZ brands. Key responsibilities Leading day-to-day content planning, scheduling, publishing and community management across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Facebook for two brands Writing organic social copy in each brand's tone of voice, with an eye for best-in-class storytelling Editing, filming and producing social-first content - turning raw assets from stakeholders and partners into polished, on-brand output Building integrated content calendars aligned to campaigns, seasonal activity, partnerships and key commercial moments Managing influencer relationships to drive community engagement and reach Managing online communities and reviews across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google My Business and Trustpilot Supporting cross-channel campaign delivery - EDM, paid social, website and partnership collateral Reporting on content performance and using analytics to sharpen ongoing strategy About you 3+ years' experience in social media management, ideally across multiple brands Confident video editor and content producer, with a strong eye for engaging, on-brand visuals Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Canva Strong writing skills and excellent editorial judgement Experience building relationships with influencers and negotiating deliverables Good understanding of social media analytics and how to use data to inform strategy A positive, organised team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment Competitive salary reflecting your experience and impact WFH days Birthday leave – because no one should work on their birthday 5 free GO Rentals hire days each year, plus generous staff discounts $200 annual health check contribution to support your wellbeing Monthly team celebrations and recognition events Ongoing development and real career growth within a fast-moving marketing team Free onsite parking Be part of a proudly Kiwi-owned business with a strong, supportive culture About us With over 25 years of experience, GO Rentals has consistently set the standard for high‑quality vehicles and exceptional service, establishing itself as one of New Zealand’s most trusted and respected rental car companies.
