Integrity Recruitment – Wellington, North Island Production Coordinator – Aluminium Windows & Doors Are you organised, practical and experienced in the building or manufacturing industry? Integrity Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business in the Wairarapa for a Production Coordinator to support the Production Manager and help keep the production process running efficiently from order through to completion. This is a key coordination role for someone who understands the building industry and knows that successful production comes down to good planning, accurate documentation, communication and attention to detail. About the Role Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will play an important role in coordinating jobs through the factory and ensuring everything required for production, delivery and installation is in place. You will work closely with the Production Manager, production team, suppliers and other internal stakeholders to ensure jobs move through the business efficiently and to agreed timeframes. A key part of the role will be reviewing jobs and identifying the documentation required to ensure a smooth delivery process. You will need to be able to recognise when information is missing, clarify requirements and make sure the right documentation is available before a job progresses. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating production schedules and workflow under the direction of the Production Manager Reviewing jobs and ensuring all information required for production is available Identifying the documentation required for a smooth production, delivery and installation process Checking plans, specifications, job sheets and other relevant documentation Identifying missing or incorrect information and following this up before it impacts production Liaising with suppliers regarding materials and delivery timeframes Monitoring jobs from order through to completion Communicating with the production team to ensure priorities are clear Identifying potential delays or issues and proactively addressing them Coordinating with delivery and installation teams where required Ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on time Maintaining accurate production records and job information Supporting the Production Manager with workflow planning and coordination Contributing to continuous improvement across the production process About You We are looking for someone who has building, construction or manufacturing experience, ideally within aluminium windows and doors, aluminium joinery or a similar environment. You may currently be working in production coordination, scheduling, estimating, project coordination, building administration or a supervisory role and be ready to take the next step. You will ideally have: Experience in the building, construction or manufacturing industry Knowledge of aluminium windows and doors or aluminium joinery is highly desirable The ability to understand plans, specifications and technical documentation Strong organisational and coordination skills Excellent attention to detail The ability to identify missing information or documentation before it becomes an issue Strong communication and follow-up skills The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines A practical, solutions-focused approach Confidence communicating with production teams, suppliers and other stakeholders Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly Most importantly, you will be someone who takes ownership, thinks ahead and understands that good coordination is what keeps production moving.
