We are on the hunt for a skilled Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team in Arrowtown!! This is a full-time position with a minimum of 30hrs suited to someone who is passionate about quality ingredients, consistency, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. About the role We are looking for an experienced Chef de partie. During service, you take ownership of your section, delivering high-quality pizzas & pastas while maintaining strong prep, organisation, and hygiene standards. Key responsibilities Preparing the dough Prepare and cook pizzas to a consistently high standard Prepare and manage pizza dough, sauces, and section mise en place Manage the pizza section during busy service periods Maintain high standards of food presentation, consistency, and portion control Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are met at all times Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation Support the wider kitchen team as required Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards Requirements At least 3 years’ relevant experience as a Pizza Chef, Chef de Partie, or similar role Strong knowledge of pizza preparation and dough handling Ability to work independently and manage early morning preparation Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to detail and consistency Good time management and organisational skills A positive attitude and team-focused approach Reliability and strong work ethic What we’re looking for Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work well under pressure Positive attitude and willingness to learn Team player What we offer Competitive pay based on experience Supportive and professional team environment Staff meals Opportunities for career growth and development within the group Work in a vibrant hospitality destination in Arrowtown Full time hours - Minimum of 30hrs #J-18808-Ljbffr
