We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Planning & Building Solutions team and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform into a modern, AWS-hosted SaaS solution.

This is an opportunity to work across the full technology stack, developing new product features, modernising legacy components and solving complex technical challenges. You'll join a collaborative, cross-functional team where quality, curiosity and continuous improvement are valued.

Reporting to the Development Manager, this is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibilities.

What youll be doing:

As a Software Engineer, you'll design, develop and deliver scalable, maintainable software that provides a reliable experience for our customers.
  • Design, develop and test new product features.
  • Build and maintain scalable systems, APIs and web applications.
  • Refactor legacy code to improve performance and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot product and customer issues.
  • Write clean, reliable and well-tested code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, product owners and technical writers.
  • Help improve our development, testing and delivery processes.

What you'll bring:

You'll bring:

  • At least three years' experience in full-stack software development.
  • Strong experience with Typescript.
  • Experience with React, Angular or other modern JavaScript framework.
  • Experience with SQL Server, relational databases and RESTful APIs.
  • Exposure to AWS or another cloud platform.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD and automated testing.
  • A practical understanding of scalable and maintainable software design.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Experience with SaaS products, NoSQL databases, Docker or Kubernetes would be an advantage.
