Internal Sales Representative

We're looking for an enthusiastic and sales-focused person to join our Auckland branch as an Internal Sales Representative. This is a hands-on sales role where you'll build customer relationships, win repeat business and help drive branch growth - with full product training provided so you can sell with confidence. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00 am - 3.30 pm
What you'll be doing
- Selling to customers over the phone and by email, converting enquiries into orders
- Preparing quotes and following up to close the sale
- Building strong, long-term customer relationships and growing existing accounts
- Identifying opportunities to upsell and support the wider sales team
- Handling stock enquiries and providing accurate product advice
- Assisting with branch administration to keep operations running smoothly
What you'll bring
- Sales experience in retail, trade, industrial or distribution environments
- A proven track record of building customer relationships and delivering results
- Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when preparing quotes and orders
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy, fast-paced environment
- A positive, driven attitude and a willingness to learn our products
- A valid work visa or the right to work in New Zealand
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
