R&D Internship (PhD or Masters Completed)
We are seeking a Master's or PhD graduates to join our team for a 6-month Research & Development internship, supported by the MBIE R&D Career Grant. This is a unique opportunity to apply your academic expertise to real-world projects, drive innovation, and gain hands-on industry experience.

Eligibility Criteria
- Recently completed an NZQA Level 9 or Level 10 degree (Master's or PhD) in Science, Technology, Engineering, Design, or Business.
- Submitted your thesis for marking or completed course requirements for a taught Master's within the last 12 months.
- Must be a New Zealand citizen OR have completed your Master's/PhD at a New Zealand university or tertiary institution.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong Python skills (PyTorch/TensorFlow) with experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Hands-on experience with rapid software prototyping, software development, and information architecture.
- Familiarity with user-centered design, UX research, and turning complex technical data into clear digital experiences.

Background or interest in biological signals, time-series data, or Educational Technology (EdTech).
