The Opportunity\n

  • Manage all promotional programs, ensuring the Trade Promotions system is maintained accurately
  • \n
  • Manage the customer portals for both Foodstuffs North and South Islands, ensuring the data meets the customers’ requirements at all times
  • \n
  • Support the Account Manager with demand forecast and trade spend analysis, and any marketing or promotional support required
  • \n
  • Analyse data from systems such as NielsenIQ and dunnhumby, identify opportunities to optimise promotional activity, and present recommendations
  • \n
  • Manage customer claims effectively and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • \n
  • Collaborate with your marketing, category, field sales and supply chain peers to ensure seamless execution of account plans and accurate forecasting
  • \n
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, through effective communication
  • \n

This is a permanent full‑time position (40 hours per week), based at our head office in Avondale, Auckland.

The ingredients you’ll bring\n
    \n
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with a business‑related degree, who already has 1‑2 years work experience in the industry, and is motivated to continue their career within FMCG
  • \n
  • Experience within the NZ FMCG industry in a support role on a Foodstuffs account
  • \n
  • Field sales experience is advantageous
  • \n
  • Due to the complex nature of our business, with continuous innovation and marketing activations, you’ll have experience with either the confectionery and/or biscuit categories
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to adapt your style as needed
  • \n
  • The ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively
  • \n
  • Strong time management, planning and organisational skills
  • \n
  • Demonstratable experience with data analysis in systems such as NielsenIQ, Quantium or dunnhumby
  • \n
  • Very strong excel skills, experience using a trade promotions system, and PowerBI
  • \n

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000.
