We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Property & Casualty Claims Examiner to join our team. In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of claims from first contact through to resolution, ensuring a high-quality service for insureds, brokers, and third parties. You'll play a key part in reserving, adjustment, escalation, and maintaining strong working relationships across the claims process.

What you will do:

  • Manage a portfolio of Property & Casualty claims in line with delegated authority and Chubb best practice guidelines.
  • Proactively investigate, reserve, and adjust claims while keeping files accurate and up to date in workflow systems.
  • Build strong relationships with brokers, insureds, third parties, and TPAs, including handling disputes and audits where required.
  • Identify subrogation opportunities, prepare large claim summaries, and support underwriting with claims insights and product knowledge.

What you will bring

  • 1-3 years' property claims experience, ideally within the insurance industry.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Sound problem-solving ability, good judgment, and a self-starter mindset.
  • Tertiary qualification preferred, with a law degree advantageous.
