IT Developer

We're looking for an IT Developer to join our technology team and play an important role in designing, developing and improving software applications that support our business and customers.
This is a great opportunity for a developer with commercial experience who is ready to take on greater technical responsibility and contribute to solution design. You'll work alongside experienced developers, technical specialists, business stakeholders and project teams to deliver high-quality, reliable and maintainable software solutions.
About the role
You'll be involved across the software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and analysing problems through to solution design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing support.
You will:
- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Design, develop, test, implement and maintain software applications.
- Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, product owners and other teams.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of software development projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across our development practices, tools and technology.
What you will bring
You'll be a practical, collaborative developer who enjoys solving problems and building quality software. Confident working independently, you're also a great collaborator, team player and take ownership of your work following through on commitments.
You'll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years' professional experience in software development and application design.
- Strong experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, html, xml, C#, Python, SQL programming languages and development frameworks and lifecycle.
- Experienced working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills.
- Strong time management with the ability to multi-task, deadline driven.
