We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Finance Business Partner.

About the role\n

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) serves as a strategic internal advisor, reporting directly to Regional Financial Controller, ANZ. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust budgeting and strict compliance with finance policies. Additionally, the FBP provides critical financial guidance to the Service Line Leader, supporting strategic decision-making and financial management for the respective Acclime Business Unit (BU).

What are we looking for?\n

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • \n
  • Membership in a recognized accounting body (CAANZ, CPA Australia, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent), or actively pursuing membership, is highly desirable
  • \n
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance business partnering or financial reporting role
  • \n
  • Experience working within a professional services organization is highly preferred
  • \n
  • Proven experience preparing NZ IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements
  • \n
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-entity statutory audits and coordinating with external auditors
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand taxation requirements, including GST, income tax, provisional tax and withholding tax compliance
  • \n
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • \n
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence business decisions through financial analysis
  • \n
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively
  • \n
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as Xero, Netsuite, Ms Dynamics or equivalent platforms
  • \n
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong command of Microsoft Office tools
  • \n
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • \n
