About the role | Mō te tūranga:\n

We are currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team, in a full-time role. This position is based at our Masterton Laboratory and may include participation in a 24/7 rotating roster. You will be willing to learn new skills, work well alone and as part of a team. Extremely well-organised, detail-oriented, and friendly with a strong focus on quality and customer service. The successful applicant must have a high degree of accuracy and be self-sufficient to excel in this role.

  • A team focus with initiative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and possess the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.

  • Excellent attention to detail, with good record keeping skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to work independently, while in a supported role.
  • \n
  • Registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Technician
  • \n
  • Flexibility with your working hours will be invaluable to the team.
  • \n
  • A sound knowledge of laboratory operations including safety, operation of equipment and hands-on practical experience in a Laboratory.
  • \n
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
  • \n

If you do not yet have your registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand, we will also consider candidates who are in the process of becoming qualified
